My objective as a real estate professional is to assist my clients achieve their real estate investment goals with a stress free transaction based on a foundation of honesty, integrity, and knowledge. I have been selling property in Lincoln County since early 2011 and have closed sales totaling over $10 million. I am constantly working to improve my skills as a realtor and am currently pursuing Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) certification which is a rigorous diversified program providing education in new technology, laws, and procedures of the real estate industry. In addition I am continually keeping abreast of current market trends in Ruidoso, Alto, Capitan, Nogal, Carrizozo, Corona and the surrounding areas of Lincoln County by providing broker price opinions for a number of nationwide companies. In April of 2013 I completed all management course work and apprenticeship requirements and am certified to be a qualifying broker. I actively work to stay abreast of new technology being introduced in the real estate industry, am e-Pro Certified, and subscribe to marketing systems accessing social media throughout the internet including Faceboook, Blogger, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube to help promote my listings and expand my client list. I am also a notary public and can perform notarization services upon request.
I am experienced with selling large ranch and land property. I am constantly working to stay informed on current economic trends, proposed legislation, and climate conditions affecting valuation of agriculture including water rights, BLM, state, forest and private land leasing, private and public land hunting, in addition to those impacting residential and commercial construction and their affects on valuation of properties in Lincoln County. We have personally owned and operated agricultural property in New Mexico which has provided me with first hand knowledge of water rights and irrigation systems. I am experienced in sales of residential and vacation home properties. I am experienced with owner financing in addition to traditional mortgage lenders and can provide assistance in all of these areas. I am also experienced in property management of single family and multi-family properties.
My husband and I live at Vera Cruz Mountain Ranch and I am currently secretary of the Vera Cruz Mountain Ranch Landowners' Association. Prior to moving to New Mexico, my husband Andy and I grew up in the suburbs near Columbus, Ohio. I am a graduate of Ohio State University with a bachelors degree in Information Systems from the college of Business Administration (BSBA),. My husband is an experienced electrician and has been involved in the trade for the past 30 years including new home construction, major remodels, residential service, and small commercial projects. We were involved in real estate investment including buying distressed properties, rehabbing them and then reselling or keeping them as rentals and performing property management for our personally owned properties.
We are also avid horse enthusiasts and enjoy working with children. While living in Ohio we built an equestrian center from the ground up. We grew our business providing boarding to 42 horses, training and breeding of pleasure and reining horses, and riding lessons where I taught an average of 70 to 80 lesson students per week. In 2003 we sold the facility as a turn-key operation in order to pursue other dreams here in New Mexico.
