1716 Summit Avenue # 30
Richmond, VA 23230
MLS #: 2509910
Step into a piece of Richmond’s history with Hook & Ladder Lofts — a beautifully reimagined 2-bedroom, 2-bath flat offering 1386 square feet of stylish, one-level living in the heart of Scott’s Addition. Originally the building was home to Baker Equipment, known for building commercial vehicles and most importantly fire engines in the early 1900s. This historic building has been thoughtfully restored to preserve its industrial soul while delivering the modern finishes and systems today's homeowners expect. Exposed wood beams, soaring ceilings, and incredible natural light from oversized skylights set the tone for this one-of-a-kind space. And yes — the original hook once used by Baker Equipment still hangs proudly in the building, a tribute to its legacy. Inside Unit 30, you’ll find a spacious, open-concept layout with two well-appointed bedrooms, a sleek, updated kitchen and bath, and beautiful touches throughout. Major upgrades include new electrical service, energy-efficient lighting, and all-new interior finishes. The exterior has seen a full transformation too — from a brand-new roof and reglazed windows to freshly pointed brickwork and upgraded exterior lighting. Don’t miss your chance to own a piece of Richmond’s industrial past, redefined for modern living. Schedule your private showing today and experience the perfect blend of historic charm and contemporary convenience. Details »

Hey there, I'm Molly Jarvis!I was born and raised in the Richmond area and currently reside in Bon Air.I graduated from Loyola University Maryland with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations, and a minor in Marketing. I did this while simultaneously competing and serving as captain for my university's volleyball team. Years of athletics helped me become a fierce competitor and someone that would do anything for my teammates. This translates flawlessly to real estate. I do everything I can to advocate and compete for my clients. I grew up in a real estate family. My grandfather was a builder, my aunt is an agent down 'at the river,' and my parents are the co-founders of One South. This means I spent family dinners hearing about the new development project my dad was working on, hearing negotiating phone calls in the car on the way to volleyball practice, and bedtime stories of crazy deals that somehow closed on time. I always knew I would come home and work in the family business, and I am thrilled to be back in Richmond doing just that on the Sarah Jarvis team, where I have been for just ever since graduation –– combining my energy and enthusiasm with over 30 years of the team's experience. In my free time, you can find me loving on my dog, Benny, renovating my home in Bon Air, spending time with my family and friends, or walking around exploring museums and restaurants in RVA!

I started my own real estate firm in 1996. I was the principal broker of my firm, One South Realty Group, one of the top independent brokerages in the Richmond area from 2008-2023. Now I serve as the team leader of the One South Realty Group Team Powered by Samson Properties. The advice I provide to clients is rooted in decades of experience in many facets of real estate. I have purchased well over 200 properties over the years including single family homes, condos, apartments complexes, and office buildings in several different areas of the Richmond area.
