I was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama and I had a very successful 30-year career in transportation management, but it was time for a change.
In 2008, I decided to get my real estate licenses and start a new career. The skills that I developed over my 30 years has transferred to real estate in many different ways. As a manager I had to be proactive and detail oriented. Also had to be patient with dealing with so many different personalities, I believe in being fair and staying informed.
Even though I lived my entire life in Alabama, I have roots right here in South Carolina too. My father was born and raised in Moncks Corner, SC, so I spent most summertime vacations and holidays right here in the Carolinas.
In March 2014 my husband's company had a job opening here in Columbia so we jumped at the chance to move here for a while providing us the opportunity to visit with my Carolina family more often. We had no intention of staying permanently, but soon my Dad came to live with us and then we fell in love with Columbia. So, I am now a South Carolinian that has no desire to ever move back to Alabama.
When I am not assisting clients, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jerry and our fairly large family. We have 4 grown children with 9 grandchildren and they all love their Grandma and want to come and visit quite often.
